Belmont Cinema Crowdfunder Extended!
"On behalf of the team at Belmont Community Cinema Ltd, we want to thank everyone for their incredible support for the campaign to reopen The Belmont Cinema in Aberdeen.
Your support and generous donation will contribute directly to the vital reimagining, refurbishment, and reopening of this much-loved venue.
Since the Crowdfunder was launched on the 15th June 2024, we have raised £48,964 from 492 donors, plus over an additional £9000 in Gift Aid.
We greatly appreciate the passion, enthusiasm and support shown towards ensuring a long-term, sustainable future for the cinema, and making The Belmont THE destination for film in Aberdeen and the North-East.
We have experienced a huge wave of support since we launched the branding, designs and public fundraising in June, and in particular over the last week, with many people expressing a desire to support the campaign.
With that in mind, we have decided to extend the Crowdfunder until Tuesday 10th September to give everyone the time and opportunity to play their part and get us closer to our fundraising target.
