Crowdfunder - Total raised £56,860

A huge thank you on behalf of the team at Belmont Community Cinema Ltd, to everyone who contributed to our Crowdfunder.

Together we raised £56,860 + over £11,000 in Gift Aid from 630 donations.

The money raised will go directly towards the reimagining, refurbishment and reopening of the Belmont Cinema. For example, the total includes donations that will cover the replacement of all the seats in Screen 3.

The Crowdfunder is just one strand of our funding strategy, which has already received generous support from Aberdeen City Council, Creative Scotland and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, alongside donations from individuals via our online platforms and community events.

We are continuing to apply to grants and foundations, in order to reach our overall target of over £2 million required to make The Belmont Cinema THE destination for film in Aberdeen.
