March 2023 Update — Steering Group Agrees UA Status

Unincorporated Association Status
Earlier in 2023, the Save the Belmont Cinema Steering Group agreed to become an Unincorporated Association (UA).
This is an important step in the campaign as UA status gives the group a formal structure to allow us to:
- Seek funding opportunities
- Develop a business plan
- Take part in any tender process for the cinema’s operation
27th March Event at The Blue Lamp, Aberdeen
Join us on Monday 27th March at the Blue Lamp where the Steering Group will launch their brand new website, provide and update on the campaign so far and outline their vision for the Belmont Cinema.
You will also be able to contribute to the campaign by providing memories and testimonials of the Belmont for the website.
