Update - Mustard Studio's Belmont Cinema Feasibility Study & Council Recommendation
Aberdeen City Council's Finances & Resources Committee will meet on Wednesday 17th May to consider the results and recommendations of the Feasibility Study undertaken by Mustard Studio on behalf on the Council.
We are very happy to see that the recommendation being put to the Committee by Council Officers is to move forward with the process to seek a new operator for the Belmont Cinema and we look forward to the motion being passed next week.
Mustard Studio has done a huge amount of work on a very detailed study and we are encouraged to see that the Executive Summary seems to align with our own strategy and vision.
We look forward to digesting their findings and recommendations from the full report as we continue to work towards our business plan for the Belmont to be a cultural cinema run by the community, for the community.
